Every Monday, 10:00 AM – “Men’s Monday Drop-In”, a social hour hosted by Rick Kleinschmidt, will be held weekly beginning August 1. Free coffee and snacks.

13-14 August 2022 – Plein Air paints in Historic Webster Village

30 August 2022, 1:00 – 4:00 PM – Taste of Webster workshop to prepare goods for the Webster Fall Festival

7 September, 2022 – “Wellness Wednesday,” a monthly event, with a health practitioner presentation followed by discussion with coffee and cookies.

13 September 2022, 7:00 – 9:00 PM – WTHS Member Meeting. Chris Sorenson will present on making banjos. Chris and his wife Stephanie own and operate Companion Custom Banjos. Chris does the bulk of the building, while Stephanie does the custom inlays. (NOTE: Member meetings will be every second Tuesday of the month, except July and August.)

15 September 2022, 1:00 – 4:00 PM – Taste of Webster workshop to prepare goods for the Webster Fall Festival

24 September, 9:30 AM – 5 PM – 39th Webster Fall Festival, a fundraiser for WTHS and WUCC.

16 October, 2:00 – 4:00 PM – Celtic Harp Concert by Carol Kappus in the Old Town Hall . This is a WTHS fundraiser. Tickets, $20 each, available soon on this website. Attendance limited to 60 people. Carol Kappus is a teacher and singer based in Michigan specializing in the music of Scotland. She studied Scots Gaelic at the Atlantic Gaelic Academy and Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. She does her own arrangements and has won several competitions. Carol also has published many books of her compositions, arrangements, and articles.

20 October, 6:30 PM – Euchre at Crossroads Community Cente. WTHS will host Euchre games every 3rd Thursday, through April 2023.

23 October, 2:00 – 5:00 PM – Halloween on the Village Green. Activities will include games, a costume parade, and trick-or-treating at each of our historic buildings. A small admission fee will be charged.

3-4 December, 9 AM – 4 PM – Huron Valley Woodturners Holiday Sale at Crossroads Community Center

10 December 11 AM – 2 PM – Christmas centerpiece classes with Sarah Ercolani. 2 classes, 11 AM and 1 PM. Maximum class size = 20 people. $40/person, all materials supplied except twig nippers. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Webster Township Historical Society. Registration Form will be available later this year. 

Fundraisers in Progress…

  • Tickets are now on sale for the WTHS 2022! Raffle: 1st Prize – machine quilted, reversible lap coverlet; 2nd Prize – hand-turned walnut and box elder lamp; 3rd Prize –  hand-turned wood bowl in oak, zebra wood and Mexican ebony. Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10 and available from any WTHS Board of Directors member. Site sales will be announced soon. Drawing for prizes will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Crossroads Community Center during the Huron Valley Woodturners Annual Holiday Sale.

  • Bricks are now being sold for the path to the Old Town Hall. $100/brick, 3 lines of 20 characters  (letters, numbers, spaces, punctuation) each printed on the brick. Click here for an order form.
