DESCRIPTION:This series\, a collaboration between Webster Township Historical Society (WTHS) and Webster United Church of Christ (WUCC)\, began with a presentation at WUCC on April 18\, “Courageous Conversations on end of life and living” presented via Zoom by Dr. Shahid Aziz\, a specialist in palliative and hospice care.  This presentation explored an area of life we really do not want to think about: Preparing for its end. Unfortunately\, this is an event that is inevitable and unpredictable\, and we are usually caught unprepared. There is an old Chinese Proverb: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.” \nFor the sake of your children\, siblings and close friends\, please consider preparing as there are many decisions and choices to be made. The WUCC and WTHS would like to offer you the opportunities to learn about care choices\, estate planning\, and time to have your wishes recorded\, witnessed\, and notarized.
