SUMMARY:Historic Webster Village Celebrates the Dexter Bicentennial
DESCRIPTION:The Historic Webster Village invites you and your family to step back in time to the 19th century:\n\n\n\nSee demonstrations of pioneer skills such as spinning\, weaving\,  laundering\, tatting\, basket-weaving\, bee-keeping\, and fiber arts among others.\nVisit our blacksmith shop\, one-room school\, general store\, and old town hall where docents will bring the past of the building alive.\nThere will be lawn games in the Village and a special area for children to try out some old-time games.\nThe Village willl be filled with music all day from the “Huron Valley Harmonizers\,” a barbershop group with Nathan Sweet on the guitar\, and the “Copycats\,” a local musical group.\n\n\n\nA free fun event for the whole family! Bring a lunch and blanket to picnic on the village green and enjoy a step-back-in-time as we celebrate with Dexter our 200-year kinship.
