4th Annual Bluegrass Jamboree

WTHS welcomes you to our 4th Annual Bluegrass Jamboree at Historic Webster Village! There is so much in store for you at this popular family friendly event.

This year’s bands include:
The Crain Family The Outfit Uphill River Wilson Thicket
Hailing from Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the Crains are a family band brought together by a love for music and the joy of creating together. They are inspired by a variety of musical styles.

The Outfit is a high-energy string band from Flint, Michigan featuring fiddle, upright bass, acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, 3 lead singer songwriters and plentiful vocal harmony.

Uphill River brings together musicians from across Michigan with a shared love for bluegrass. Their music respects where bluegrass comes from and shows excitement for where it can go.

Wilson Thicket combines a hand-picked group of  SE Michigan singers, instrumentalists, and songwriters that Michigan has to offer, with years of performing experience under their belts.

Our historic buildings will be open with docents and demonstrations to delight visitors including blacksmithing in the Wheeler Wheelwright and Blacksmith Shop, banjo construction in the Old Town Hall, a one-room school experience at Podunk School, agriculture and homestead exhibits at the Farm Museum in May Mast’s Barn, and a wide variety of old fashioned items available for purchase in Kleinschmidt’s General Store.
Activities on the Village Green for children include a straw maze and supervised lawn games.
