Celebrating the Dexter Bicentennial

July 13 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Historic Webster Village invites you and your family to step back in time to the 19th century:

    • See demonstrations of pioneer skills such as spinning, weaving,  laundering, tatting, basket-weaving, bee-keeping, and fiber arts among others.
    • Visit our blacksmith shop, one-room school, general store, and old town hall where docents will bring the past of the building alive.
    • There will be lawn games in the Village and a special area for children to try out some old-time games.
    • The Village willl be filled with music all day from the “Huron Valley Harmonizers,” a barbershop group with Nathan Sweet on the guitar, and the “Copycats,” a local musical group.

A free fun event for the whole family! Bring a lunch and blanket to picnic on the village green and enjoy a step-back-in-time as we celebrate with Dexter our 200-year kinship.
